calm down gogo, the thread was closed coz people were trading attacks....not anything else.

you're going through some serious stress right now. don't leave the forum. maybe just take a couple of days off of it & maybe things won't seem so bad after you relax awhile. (F)

Gogo, you need to calm down.

You aren't the first one here to spend 200+ days processing and you won't be the last. You probably don't believe that but it's true.

You aren't the first one to call their congressman every day, their senator, the President, Vice President, even the first lady.

You aren't the first one to miss your wife like hell.

You don't need to leave either. You just need to realize that ALL OF US put up with BS in this system. Your case isn't worse or better than someone else's. It's just.......your case.

Please don't go.

I am sure that ALL OF US, even those you have butted heads with want to know how everything turns out for you. But more than that, a positive out come.

Sometimes for whatever reason, some cases end up in a cycle of ####### despite the fact that the petitioner and the benefitary having a legitimate relationship and not having done anything that would deem them ineligible.

After being approved and the case almost being completed at the NVC was sent back to the CSC. When we would call the USCIS they said they had no record of requesting it back or receiving it. When my husband went to the local office, they said they same thing. When I called the NVC they said that the local office would not have a record of it because it was the CSC that asked for it back. They said they had the badge number of the agent that requested it but when my husband spoke to the Immigration officers at his infopass appointment they said they would not contact the NVC about it and they only inquire within. The stress was almost too much to bare as we had already waited so long and hit road block after road block and most importantly had a very sick infant daughter who needed help. Finally- after 4 infopass appointment he was able to finally convince the Agent to contact the NVC to find out who asked for it. Within days of this, our I-130 was on the way back to the NVC.

We still have no idea why they asked for it back, but a consular at the US consulate in Toronto seemed to think it was because of the Adam Walshe Act and they failed to preform that extra check- who knows.

My point is, people in those agency sometimes screw up. They also do not communicate effectively with their sister agencies.

I know how the frustration builds when you can't get any answers- and you know in your heart that if someone would actually just listen to you that it could be resolved. It's very easy to project that frustration and become sensitive to the replies and comments of others.

Open a bottle of wine and relax- you will have an answer soon.

I hope you stay because VJ will help in the rest of the visa journey.

There are a lot of us stuck at the embassy level in AP/AR and should you find yourself in that situation when you proceed through the

current hold up then you will find encouragement from members who have unreasonable waiting times.

Just read my siggy and you get the idea what I am going through, just letting you know there are many of us with delays.

God bless !

Hi GOGO,

I know you are too much frustrated. How many days have been apart from your spouse? 200 + days ! I got married back in Dec 2003 and guess what I have to celebrate my 4th wedding anniversary alone here. Well I can afford and manage my time to visit my wife once a year. I filed I130 back in April 2004 and it got approved in Sep 2007. Well I was just a resident untill June 2007. But my status could not stop my tears. Heart does not understand the status. It only understands that it is apart from it's other part...and it's year after year. Now I am closer to get my wife but I don't know why I am not excited. may be..I forgot how to cheer !

Please don't leave us. Stay with us...

We are all part of this journey. we should help each others out in all our concerns, deppressions,. I never thought posting my worries and problems regarding my case would result into a misunderstanding., between the members especially gogo and rebeccajo. Im sorry,. I just feel deppressed about my case and I just post what I feel. I know you all of us feel the same way and stressed because of the journey process plus the fact that we misses our loveones who are apart from us., All I want is to be with my husband,,,,That's it. I just miss him for real. I love my hubby so much, and would be strong for him. ,because in the long run, I know we'll be together. Just hang in there, stay calm.
