I wouldn't try it. Any delay would cause you problems.

or is it a nightmare like CDG?

I have found a really good fare with a connection in Frankfurt,but I only have 50 minutes to connect. I just wanted to know is it doable?

Hey, I've been through Frankfurt a millenia of times and out off the fierce three, Paris, London and Frankfurt, I would do Frankfurt any day! bear in mind you won't have time to stop and look around as it is a LARGE airport. But you should have time to go go go. Hope this helps. By the way CDG NIGHTMARE with a capital PAIN IN THE REAR!!!! Never will I fly through there again, EVER!!!!

Will you have to change terminals? The train that connects them is a bit of a pain, and 50 minutes don't sound very long...

And consider the time of year... if there's any snow, there may be additional delays.... good luck with your decision, though!

Well I will be connecting with another Lufthansa flight and the rep I spoke with this morning said that it appears I will stay in the same terminal,but I think she said I may have to go to a different level or something like that.

50 minutes is pushing things for any airport - but - if you're only going through passport control and not having to claim and recheck bags, you should be OK - IF you arrive on time and everything goes smoothly (those are big IFs). :unsure:

It's one of the busiest airports in Europe so don't dilly dally on your way to your departure - more time would be better of course. :thumbs:

FRA is a breeze compared to CDG! I've done the CDG connecting flight sprint. Great for the body, hard on the peace of mind (and the other travelers I mowed over.) :lol:
