I called the WHITE HOUSE. Was advised to call the HOMELAND SECURITY DEPARTMENT and ask for the NATURALIZATION AND IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT. They did not answer after 4pm today...but I WILL be calling back on Monday with my complaint. May I suggest we ALL call...with numbers, statistics and how the processing is so out of order. I will be demanding that they pull my file, April and May files that still need worked to have them expedited. I think at this point its only fair. The issues to point out are:

1. The mismanagement of the site to adequately be prepared for the fee increase and the issues surrounding the H1 visas. That they were not properly staffed and we as "customers" should not have to be penalized for that.

2. Due to misinformation, lost/misplaced crates we are making this request

3. That if this process was managed properly, we, as April, May, June Filers should have been on an adjudicators desk LONG before AUGUST filers are approved or even TOUCHED.

4. That most of us are nearing, at or OVER the processing times while others filing months after us are now being worked.

The number to call is 202-282-8000. Please...if you really mean what you say about tired of waiting, or if you have offered support...call....

I'll call first thing Monday and see who we need to address these issues to.

Any more suggestions?

Well, one more weekend without my approval. I get to go home to a empty apartment again all depressed. UGHHHH

Hi Guys...another touch today...status remains the same however..I am praying for us all for speedy NOA2sss...waiting is getting to be tiresome...also considering the AP I have to look forward to...however....all in good time...and we are well on our way....focusing on the future and trying to remain positive...however would like to see the rest of any April/May/June NOA2s now before seeing any additional approvals from other months

I realize it must suck to be in your shoes, BUT to take out your frustrations on July filers who have no control over the approvals is a bit much. Vent about VSC until the cows come home, but please don't direct your anger at us. I know I feel bad that you so many others aren't approved yet, as do most other July filers, but that doesn't mean we can't be happy about our own approvals.

Thank you.

It is cool Virgillionaire........It is hard and it sucks and I for one have lost it more times then you have seen here.....I have cussed and thrown things when others have gotten there approvals and said it is not fair and f@#$ them all.....and this is a venting thread so even though I did not say it....I thought it and I am really trying not to rain on there parade but they have to understand how very unfair and unjustice this is for the 40 or so May/June filers who have been overlooked....and it was September and August filers being approved while they sat in limbo they would feel just like us....so I guess understand human emotions and being allowed to express it here....because we are all in this same boat called We're Screwed by USCIS

Thanks Lora. I definitely needed to get that dark humor out of my system a little. But of course Julezabelle I am happy for you guys really just didn't feel like celebrating at this moment.

So I'll revise my rant to be VSC SUCKS AND IT NEEDS TO GET A ROOM WITH ITSELF, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN

How's that?

Hi, I'm a May filer....and still no NOA2...I have quit going to the May thread because everyone is in their NVC and interview process....that gets very discouraging....is there anyone else from May out there????

Welcome to the thread....It is hard to see others move on as happy as we are for them. I really hope we can find some positive support here, yet keep it a haven to whine, cry, and stomp our feet in as needed. Some have waited even longer like you have. My prayers are with you all as you handle the emotions that are going with this. We each understand this rollercoaster ride we are on...so its easier to sympathize.

What actions have you taken to find out about your petition??

I have called every week checking on what the status is...trying to get answers....but we all know that the customer service folks can't really answer any questions....we have a congressional inquiry by our congressman....you would think that that would get some answers, but it has been 6 weeks and we keep being put off with their office saying that it just takes time... we have had some friends of ours email senators and congressman also....no answers there....basically we have hit the wall with these folks...and they say the same thing....not anything they can really do....there is a person assigned in the VSC that congressman can send their questions on cases to, and they have to wait for that person to get back with them.

Basically we have no voice in this big mess...I will be calling the White House on Monday and will voice the concerns that the other email suggested and I am up for any other idea people have.

I called the USCIS and told them that I was at 201 days past my priority date and they said that I would have to wait 60 days since the last communication that I had from the USCIS before they could officially look into the matter...that will be Dec. 19. So WE WAIT!!!!!

May 5-sent I129f to Texas and they forwarded to CSC

May 11-priority date according to NOA1 on Hard Copy

May 14-received by CSC...notice sent (never received)

May 15-money order cashed

July 19-called about Hard copy..said they would resend

July 23-lawyer calls and is told application is lost and to resend application

July 25-sent a duplicate application to Texas and it is forwarded to VSC

July 27-called again...said they would resend from CSC

July 31/aug.3/aug.6 "touches"

Aug. 16 received the NOA1 from VSC for duplicate application

Aug. 16-called about Hard Copy...said that they would resend (3rd time) from CSC

Aug. 17-"touch"

Aug. 19-FINALLY RECEIVED THE NOA1 HARD COPY for original application from CSC

October-19-CRIS sent message that they were moving our application to VSC?!?!?

(seems USCIS sent our first application to the wrong center)

November-16 origianl is at the VSC

Dec. 3-congressmans office calls VSC...will be processed by July application date

Feb. 6-APPROVED!!!!

Feb. 7 sent to NVC

Feb. 13 sent to MONTREAL...WRONG EMBASSY!!!!!!! SUPPOSED TO BE VANCOUVER!!!!!!!

Feb. 14 arrived in MONTREAL

Feb. 20 talked to NVC center....supervisor will try to "catch" the application call back in 10-15 days

Feb. 29...talked to the State Department (Visa)...they had NVC send cable today to Montreal instructing them to send packet to VanCouver

March 4...K visa application received at VanCouver

March 6 packet 3 ARRIVED

March 10 packet 3 checklist and DS230 faxed back

March 12 medical exam

March 20 packet 4 received

April 8....interview date

Hi Y'all. I am new to this wonderful website. Like many of you, I am a mid June filer with no touches of note (one touch early on at the end of June). I share your sentiments about how messed up the system is and I feel the roller coaster taking me lower and lower every day. Sara, my fiance', is stressing about this heavily and this forced separation is weighing on us greatly. Our relationship is wonderful and we will weather this storm but this is one we should never have to endure.

There are a few things I'd like to share -

-My lawyer's paralegal finally broke down after much prodding early this week and called the VSC (oh yes, "Service" is our middle name!!!!). She was told that they were currently processing applications dated May 19th and that they are averaging one day's filings per day. My response to the paralegal was that the VsC person was being "less than genuine" with her due to the fact that petitions are being handled totally out of order. Her response:

-My congresswoman sent in a letter on my behalf early in November (3 weeks after her staffer promised me that she would). Yesterday, I asked her staffer to inquire again as nothing at all had happened. She said that they now must wait until the end of December to call due to "Congressional protocals". That sounds bogus to me.

-On Wednesday, I wrote both Senators and I have not yet heard anything from them. They will certainly be getting calls on Monday a.m.

As my peition is rapidly approaching the 180 day mark, I am wondering what effect if any will my calling the VsC on the 180th day? Do any of you have experience with this? If so, will it do me any good or will I just get told to call back in 30 days?

Last, I just want to say that I am very impressed with the great support that all of you have provided to eachother. Just reading posts the last few days has been inspiring.

OK OK OK....I CHECKED THE USCIS WEB SITE....and............

NO, nothing yet...Im NOT approved yet...........

BUT................

Ive adjusted to the idea of waiting...........FINALLY. Thank you God. Im at peace with it. STILL going to do something about it IF I can...IF for no other reason to feel better, and maybe make it easier in the future for others AND our AOS. But...I"ve adjusted...mostly due to you people here. You are so kind, caring and truly understand. Who else can understand better than you all who are traveling this road together with me. We share the same feelings, emotions, fears, joys and heartache. Everytime one of you posts for Mel and Syl or Mirla or anyone else...I can FEEL your empathy...that you truly KNOW how they may feel. THAT inspires me...you guys are my heros...every last one of you. I am truly happy for those of you approved....and...so thankful u have stayed to encourage, cheer us on and share your progress. THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart. Its still hard to see others that filed 2-3 months after me get approved...but I can now count it ALL joy to have this issue. Cause the working of my faith will create patience in my life. So that I may be mature and not lacking. Thank you to all of you...thank you God for the peace only YOU can bring into our lives....

God bless you all....

Dont stop pushing for those noa2's...but do find your peace.

I wish Faith....but the frustration is so great that I am almost beyond being peaceful...and patient.....I think I have been until November....then everything is so very confusing.....I am thinking it is partially my age (time is ticking) and partially my experience of almost losing my life that has me just in the opposite place you are trying to maintain........I see life as fragile and time as precious and I am sure this is why I find this oh so hard to swallow......You know no one cares at USCIS....about Lora and Oscar....we are EAC******** just another file in a sea of boxes....but you and I , Amr and Oscar have no say, no recourse, no chance even to have someone, anyone to hear Us.......and that is the bottom line.....I could wait patiently for my turn if I thought they gave a diddly d*mn.......and it was fairly done......But it is not.........Having a bad day today......Sorry my friend........Lora :(
