Hey June filers...are they any of you still out there....what is happening with ya'll???

We're still here. Still waiting.

I sent over a request for help to my senator this morning. We'll see if that helps, but our senator is notorious for ignoring requests, despite the fact that she wants to be the president. I'm hoping they're working and hoping for primary votes from those they help? But I'm not going to hold my breath. I dont' expect anything.

Just waiting.

Our file has supposedly been in security check for the last month. They say they are waiting for an "outside agency" to provide information and there is nothing they can do.

The other day we called again and they said the officer assigned to our case had requested the file be sent back to him from security check, but that the security check had not been completed. I have no idea what this means. Does anyone else know what this means? We have now been waiting 7 months.

At least I am now in Argentina and we are waiting together. Still, its endlessly frustrating to be stuck in this purgatory. We just want to be in San Francisco, starting our life together, and planning our wedding. At this point we still have no idea when we will be there and when we can have our wedding. Of course, you all know what I am talking about. We are all in this boat together.

Good luck to all of you still waiting, and congratulations to those of you who have made it through the process.

love and peace from Argentina,

I believe it is FBI background checks. I have a friend that has been waiting since August of 2006 for his NOA2 due to this reason. However, his last wife came from China and was a green card seeker and dumped him as soon as she got here. He remarried to another Chinese woman and thus his long wait for security checks and for the NOA2. Do either of you have anything in your background as far as previously being married to a non USC?

Good luck.

I am so sorry to see so many still waiting from June! We only got our NOA2 about 2 weeks ago and that was after a phone call that got through to an Immigration Officer, past the Customer service who are absolutely no help. The off. told me that my file had been assigned to someone but it had been there a long time, and she emailed them to see what the issue was - within 5 days, we had approval.

I think most of you are from VSC, but maybe you could do the same?

800-375-5283; 1,2,2,4,2,1; your case number; 1,1. There is no need to wait for the recorded voice to explain all the prompt-options; just hit them in order.

Im a mid June filer from VSC. I"ve noticed that many JULY filers are being approved and that my petition is just NOW hitting someones desk...how can that be??? If indeed they work first come first served...how is it that late july filers are now getting approvals and mine is JUST now hitting a desk????

Is anyone out there going through this?

Hi... I think there are probably more people than we think going through the same thing!.. We filed 6/26/07 at CSC but, we have been told(from good sources) that they are working finally on late Junes filers. So hang in there!!!

Hi, I think I probably congratulated you already on your approval. Could you tell me how you got past Customer service? Did you ask for your congress persons help or did you just get lucky?

Sorry also to all the June filers still waiting.
