Thank you arm! I dont know how i am making it, i think its because i know deep in my heart that this will get to an end one day. Yes i do get weak but i always try to keep a smile on my face but seeing all this recent late filers approvals is breaking me. I am very happy for each and everyone but this system isn't faie. Yes cases are different but instad of approving late filers, they can go through the harder cases and RFE'd them if its needed. The rather keep them for months and then RFE people, all that is causing confusion

I get some news but i dont know if i should feel happy about it though. I just called Vermont and had a very nice lady on the phone. She told me that my case is with an adjudicator at this moment and i should be hearing something very soon. Fingers and toes crossed i hope this is it.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

Just wanted you all to know you have cheerleaders on the sidelines routing you on and praying for the speedy approvals to come rolling in!

I'm so sorry you are all having to wait so long.

I know you don't want to take anything away from others who filed later being approved but it's still got to be so hard to see. My heart goes out to all of you.

I'm looking at up to a year or more before my man can come home to me so I can relate to that frustration but there's not much more I can do about that and what you all are going through is just wrong. There should be an order to things.

Best of luck to you all.

Thank you so much....after we get noa2...we have LONG AP after a Cairo interview...we aren't even half way through...

I will share a spot of what Amr sent me...(in his best english) :innocent: :innocent: But it made me feel better...

"no matter how long we have to wait

it wont make me love you any ... less

it wont make me need you any ... less

it wont make me miss you any ... less

it wont make us feel any different .. any less close and less open

we have our life ahead

we look at that ...never look under our foot"

Never look under our feet...DEEP. Look at our life ahead. Keep our heads up....Look forward...

Any takers on proofing the following letter to my representative? I have a small mean streak and I'm afraid that certain sections may come of a little less respectful than I'd like.

Ms. Eagan-

Thank you for your swift response to my query. I'm replying once again in hopes that Mr. Hinchey will hear the voices of the many applicants waiting to bring their loved ones to the US that are fighting with the issues currently plaguing the USCIS. I thank you for your work on my behalf.

When I called on Monday they had said that the crate containing my petition was in the hands of an adjudicator as well- not yesterday as they told you. Their standard stock answers for all and sundry are not acceptable. This is a service that we as American citizens pay for. Like all monetary transactions the customer pays for goods and/or services rendered. We petitioners pay this fee to USCIS in return for their time, effort, the cost of background checks, and labor costs, within a timeframe of six months. I am not the only person who is within days of this six month deadline.

It has become apparent to many that the Vermont Service Center has been grossly mismanaged. I belong to a forum of K1 petitioners that meet online to help each other throughout the immigration process.. We understand that we are only a very small sampling of a much larger set of petitions, however we are fairly representative of filers across the United States and beneficiaries around the globe. Fellow filers struggle with lost RFE's, RFEs asking for documentation originally mailed with the petition, customer service representatives refusing to help, repeated requests to wait 30, 60, 90 days before asking for additional help. One filer was recently told her file was found amongst a pile of misplaced applications. About a third of our July filers have already recieved their approvals, while filers from April, May, and early June wait with growing apprehension that they have simply been forgotten. These delays represent plans and weddings postponed, loved ones seperated for months at a time because entry during the K1 process is so strongly discouraged.

I understand that there is very little, if anything that can be done in my case at present however, I hope that Representative Hinchey will hear the larger message that I hope I have conveyed in this letter, and will join those seeking to reform and better the immigration process. USCIS may have hundreds of thousands of petitions, but to the petitioners these are our hopes and dreams for our futures.

Once again thank you for your assistance, and your time.

Respectfully,

ETC.

Thanks.

:crying: :crying: :crying: Simply beautiful...you captured everything. One suggestion..not sure what you think of it..but in mentioning that you belong to a group...I'd mention the SIZE of this group as over 30,000 strong. (although not all are k applicaants...our membership base is not small...and CAN influence much if all pulled together)...just a thought??? THis is an amazing letter..may I plagerize it?? For my officials to??

I revised based on your suggestion:

It has become apparent to many that the Vermont Service Center has been grossly mismanaged. I belong to a forum of petitioners that meet online to help each other throughout the immigration process. These petitioners represent those filing for all forms of family visa, and is currently about 30,000 members strong. We understand that we are only a very small sampling of a much larger set of petitions, however we are fairly representative of filers across the United States and beneficiaries around the globe.

And you and anyone on VJ are welcome to adjust this to fit their situation and representatives.

Hi guys....Sorry for my temperary meltdown but I have a heart problem and I was letting myself get too worked up. I was in the hospital for 2 days a couple of weeks ago and I am going in tomorrow to have a cardiovertor implanted because all of the meicine is not working on my irregular heartbeats.....I have been putting it off for months because oscar wants to be here but I have waited long enough and it is now necessary that it is done now.......I will be asleep for about an hour tomorrow but I am sure all will be o.k......Now I am letting you guys know that the Congressional Liason has contacted me about the whole processing problem at VSC but they are not sure they can get it on the hearing list...they make a list and then have to organize everything so most of the hearings for this session are set but they were asking about the spring.....at this point I am going to push for some kind of accountability here on USCIS and Mr Gonzales' part so even after Oscar is here and all is good with us I think I will push this with letters and phone calls....I also told them I would be willing to testify but I doubt that woul happen so even though nothing may come of this I feel better know that at least someone is at least talking to me.......Congrats on all the approvals....Lora
