I totally sympathize with you. In fact, I sympathize with all of the filers that seem to be left in the dust (because that is exactly how I feel). I just received an RFE and totally know how much it sucks. Man, they make you wait for 6 months and then they inform the need for more information. AND - get this, it's information that they didn't even ask for at the start of this ordeal. I am still so livid over my RFE. The USCIS email stated that they mailed my notice on a particular day and I didn't get it until 18 days later. It was even postmarked 13 days after they said they mailed it!

This process is so hard and so stressful. I hope that we make it through unscathed.

I am wishing you all the best of luck in this process and a very Merry Christmas and the hopes the the new year will bring our loved ones home where they belong!

June 6th 2007 I submitted my petion to CSC and still waiting..

Well join the First week of June forgotten club........I trully believe I should of filed in late July I would of be approved a month ago.......Had 3 touches but mostly from my phone calls I think....So I feel your frustration, pain and felling of total anger at USCIS........Virgil Ric and I are with ya.......Lora

I feel like I can join the "June Forgotten Club" but I actually belong to the "July Forgotten Club".

How much do you pay for the lawyer to wait on your petition? Just curious, thanks. I thought about hiring one until I found this site, and I'm very happy that VJ community saved me the cost of hiring a lawyer.

am really really sorry to hear about your RFE. the law firm we hired was Holmes and Lolly in California. So far, they replied to all our mails and querries and everytime we check our case status, asking if we got RFE because we still dont have the NOA2, they answered that there is none and that the approvals they are getting are the week of our NOA1 so they anticipate for our NOA2 anytime now...

:crying::crying::crying::crying: ....hopefully we get our approval before the end of this year!!!

Just called them to say what the heck, folks, few days short of 7 months. And they said someone was workign on it. But I have no touches. And they've been saying that for over a month.

I really wish I could give up. Or get mad and mean at them. I was maybe less than COMPLETELY nice to the lady I talked to today. I pointed out that my congressman said It was being worked on November 28th and she just repeated herself and asked if I had something else she could help me with.

YAY BRUSH OFF.

So tired of this BS. So very very tired. Pete's been a saint about all this, but even he's starting to get frustrated. :girlwerewolf2xn:

Our file has supposedly been in security check for the last month. They say they are waiting for an "outside agency" to provide information and there is nothing they can do.

The other day we called again and they said the officer assigned to our case had requested the file be sent back to him from security check, but that the security check had not been completed. I have no idea what this means. Does anyone else know what this means? We have now been waiting 7 months.

At least I am now in Argentina and we are waiting together. Still, its endlessly frustrating to be stuck in this purgatory. We just want to be in San Francisco, starting our life together, and planning our wedding. At this point we still have no idea when we will be there and when we can have our wedding. Of course, you all know what I am talking about. We are all in this boat together.

Good luck to all of you still waiting, and congratulations to those of you who have made it through the process.

love and peace from Argentina,

kelah and ramiro
