I have been checking all day and things have been slow on the approval front I am sad to say. I truly believe that the VsC is working bass-ackwards through the filings and that your time will come very soon Virgil, Lora and everyone else who is still waiting. I know how hard it is to keep the faith. I was near the end of my rope. Hold on tight, it will come. It just stinks to have to go through all of this.

Todays topic: DISCOURAGEMENT

Much is said in religion on discouragement. But how can we control this?

Philippians 4:6-8 KJV)

(6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things {are} honest, whatsoever things {are} just, whatsoever things {are} pure, whatsoever things {are} lovely, whatsoever things {are} of good report; if {there be} any virtue, and if {there be} any praise, think on these things.

Pray and ASK God for what your desires are. God grants us peace...but we must do our part. It says...to THINK on things that are pure, good and of good report...virtuous things...have a thankful spirit. You will find your discouragement will disappear. No one said this would be easy. This road traveled is hard...but WE MUST DO OUR PART. It takes WORK to lose the discouragement we feel.

(John 14:27 KJV)

(27) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

(2Corinthians 4:8-9 KJV)

(8) {We are} troubled on every side, yet not distressed; {we are} perplexed, but not in despair; (9) Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

WE ARE NOT DESTROYED....powerful words....

(Hebrews 10:35-36 KJV)

(35) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. (36) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Notice it says...if we NEED patience...AFTER we DO the will of God...we recieve this promise.

(Philippians 1:6 KJV)

(6) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform {it} until the day of Jesus Christ:

(Galatians 6:9 KJV)

(9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

(Psalms 31:24 KJV)

(24) Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

Be of good courage, GOD gives us the strength to carry our burdens. Have faith in God...is what this says and HE will carry you threw.

There is a story of a small farm town in danger of losing its crops. So the minister called a special prayer meeting. As the people filed into the church, the minister stood at the door to great them. In the prayer meeting, everyone prayed their BEST prayers, and said how much faith they had that God would save their crops and bring the rain. Finally after an hour the service was over. Once again the minister stood at the door to shake the hands of his congregation as they left. As he did so, he noticed a small girl...not very old..maybe 6 or 7. As she came out of the church, she took somthing from her hand. It was an Umbrella. The minister said, "why young lady, why did you bring an umbrella? We haven't had rain in so long and its not raining today."

She looked up at him and said, "But I just prayed that God would send rain, so i brought my umbrella." As she walked away the first drops of rain were felt by the minister.

Having faith, means WALKING in faith...in trust...its not our words...but our actions that speak of that faith.

Are you walking today as if you WILL be approved?

Are you trusting in GODS timing for your approval?

Do you have COMPLETE faith He will come throuh with what you need?

I hope these words that came to me today, will raise and lift you up. Encourage you to fight the fight, stay the course and not feel discouraged. Vermont is strong...but GOD is stronger....

Have a blessed day.

You are welcome Tam....It was something that was laying in my heart to share. Thank you for appreciating it...

Lora I hope you are home now and feeling better....please take care....try to find any way you can to relax...and tell everyone to stop yelling at u to relax...you can't help it....its natural to be soo stressed with this process...and especially with what you are going through.....them nagging about it just adds to the stress.... Im sure... What you need isn't stress relief...its VSC RELIEF....-
