Hello,

Dont really comment to much anymore on here! Just read and take it all in. A lot of people going threw the AOS process go threw without any problems and im very happy for them. But for many i say alot they go threw alot of pain and worrying. My wife has been waiting with a ND of Oct 05 and had her Biometrics done in jan 06 and interview in April 06 and refingerprinted Nov2 07 because they said hers expired! lol. And i almost forgot on her third EAD card and have to reapply in March if she doesnt get her GreenCard. So many calls to USCIS excatly 4 now and a infopass this month and still in a background pending state.

Contacted Senator office and check into for us but doesnt now if they can find out anything so we will wait some more. So for those who recieved there greencards early im happy for you but for the those havnt and are stuck in darkness im praying for you with Gods speed

So sorry for the long wait, how frustrating! :crying:

You are doing the right thing by calling USCIS and contacting the Senator's office. Sending good thoughts and prayers for a quick approval. (F)

Sorry about your long wait... On the brighter side, in my understanding, your wife might receive a 10-year GC instead of the 2-year one since you two are married for over 2 years now. I've read this information here and I hope I'm right.

Good luck to you!

Yes you are correct..... if you have been married more than 2 years at the time of approval you will not have to file to lift the conditions of a 2 year Greencard you will be given a 10 year greencard.... so you will save $$$ and the waiting game all over again....
