Came back from work now and voila!

They are requesting more evidence as indicated on the USCIS website. Hopefully it would be something that I can provide ASAP. I cant even imagine what it is. Dont know whether to cry or to moan. Lord help me. Would love to know how soon after sending the rfe, can I expet to see an approval. Thanks y'all

Sorry about the RFE :angry::protest::ranting:

Just wait until you get the letter to find out what they want. Hopefully it will be something minor that you can turnaround and send back to them.

As for how long to approval after an RFE, it tends to vary. Some get it a couple of days later, others wait a few weeks. Hopefully yours will come sooner rather than later so that I can update your approval on the list :D

Thanks Zee, the only thing that I can think of that might be missing would be the birth certificate of my son. Bt I do have it with me, hopefully that would be it or something minor.

Wow! It's both a blessing and a curse, cause it was hard having no news about your case. I hope the letter gets to you fast. You never know, you could have just forgotten to check a box or something simple. I hope it's a quick turn around for you and you hear something back quickly.

Biometrics: 9-18-2008

AOS Transferred to CSC: 9-25-2008

Requested EAD Expedite: 11-12-2008

EAD Card production ordered: 11-12-2008 changed to 11/17/2008 Why? (I hope it doesn't change every week!)

Received AP: 11/17/2008

Received EAD: 11/22/08 (Praise God!!)

AOS RFE: 1/29/2009

AOS Approved: 3/24/2009

Called USCIS 4/1/2009 told no status change and case not yet reviewed from RFE request.

Received green card: 4/3/2009
