One of my friends had the agency she used to get her visa, to ship it to the Fed Ex inside the airport on the day that she was leaving, that worked out good. She left from NY. It depends on where you are leaving from to determine if that will work out for you. Wish you all the luck I'm sure it will work out.

CASE COMPLETE (THANK YOU JESUS) December 13, 2007

I never would've Made it without You Jesus.....He allows some things to Run there coarse, but have no fear God is in Control......He has the VERY LAST say So and he will perform his word.

Yeah, I did the same thing the last time I went to Nigeria. I mailed in my application on extremely short notice, then forgot it was a holiday week (4th of July) and that they were closed on Fridays. The good news is they are actually open for phone calls, but closed to the public. I was to leave on a Saturday, and when the Friday mail came, I still had no passport!!!! I had a terrible time trying to get someone to help me, and the people (one nasty receptionist) was soooooooooooooooooo rude! I finally just went through the telephone directory for the consulate and started picking out extensions so I could talk to anyone. I was desperate. I got somenoe on the line from Lord only knows what office and I hurriedly explained that I was supposed to leave for Nigeria the next day, but that I didn't have my passport. I asked him to take down my number just in case we got disconnected, and I asked for his. After a lot of running around on the phone, he got me to the right person and they found my passport. They were willing to overnight it to me and I would have it by 10 am the next day. I told them I was leaving for New York at 6 am in the morning, so there was no way. They ended over nighting (I had to pay for that) it to New York (there is a FedEx at JFK airport) and I went on faith that it would be there when I arrivedere. It was, and to God be the glory! Lesson learned though...stop procrastinating!

Hi,

Blessings guess what i made it in time with my nigerian visa that is. I am to go to nigeria on monday, and i didnt get my visa until today. Let me just tell u some of what i went through getting it. I called all around from embassy extension to another , people were not helpful at all but on friday today, after just picking ext i found a very helpful guy who was willing to check into for me by the grac eof god it had to be god u all. He told be stop crying i will take care of it for you i had to plea literally and tell them my husband is calling me 5ox a day and the family is upset that they are all expecting me. So finally he called my passport agency who i went through and told them to come and pick it up, thats i should stop crying calm down he will not let me miss my flight on monday... Guys all i have to say is i had almost given up but everyone kept saying try anyway because as u know they r not open on fridays, and all i can say is the lord will rescue you in any situation , i am telling you i was not even supposed to get my visa until monday because i filed too late on my part... but god stepped right in when i had lost hope. This is an experience i tell u i will neverrrrrrrr do that again . PLEASE apply 2 month or 3 mos early for your visas and do not go through agencies mail it in yourself .

Take care.
