I just sent in my papers to VSC yesterday. I hope I get NOA1 soon, because if I have to get a stamp in a passport, I am dead :(( In July I sent in all the paperwork required to get a new pasport that has my married name on it. And guess what?? They sent me my new passport through FedEx and I never got it!! They swear up and down that it was delivered - left at my front door 3 weeks ago... And how can they deliver something that important without a signature?? It looks like I will not find it and it takes at least 5 months to get a new passport. Is there any other way I can get this stamp on something else? I don't even want to think of what would happen If I'd loose my job... :crying:

Just a thought here .....

You may want to make a personal visit to the Embassy in DC to sort things out!

Sorry for the problem ... hope that all works out!

I wouldn't worry because other than never receiving the NOA1, the only reason you would need a stamp in your passport is if it takes VSC more than a year to process your I-751. However, VSC has been moving along at a very predictable 6-month pace for some time now. Plus, even if it does take a little while for you to get your NOA1, presumably you filed at the beginning of the 90-day window and you will still get the NOA1 before your green card expires.

Meh
