CR-1 fee's

Hi all,

Now that it looks like I will be taking the CR-1 route after all, I was wonder how much US money am I suppose to bring to the consulate? I know the fee is $100.00 for the k3 but for some reason I think the CR-1 is higher.

I just want to make sure I have more than enough US funds with me.

you don't need to bring any money to the interview...

the money you payed to the NVC covers everything....

you will just need to purchase an express post envelope so they can send your passport with your visa and thebig envelope of stuff you need to hand over at the POE back to you....

No fee for CR-1 interview, since the IV Fee is paid by the choice of agent during NVC process.

Don't forget to try the poutine and smoked meat while you're there. It's what Montreal is famous for!

I'm guessing you haven't gone through NVC yet. Their fees are $70 for AOS and $384 for the IV Bill. Once you pay that to the NVC, you don't have anything else to worry about.
