I'm sorry if I'm totally out of touch but what has been done on your case? Has senators gotten involved? Have you called the CSC everyday? Have you been able to obtain any information at all?

talk about how your case is over 180 days and your situation ... I did, and received a letter in the mail in about 2 weeks from them stating they will look into my case (from Homeland security, who is the boss of USCIS).. they want to keep a record of all dealings and will have a person contact me... which was yesterday (from area code 202 -- Washington D.C.).. I got to talking someone from USCIS - Homeland Security Dept.. a person called Mr. Miller... good.gif he stated there was something going to happen soon with my case..

Well, that´s the question - I guess nothing but they keep touching it. My husband sent fax to both senators of Texas last week and yesterday he called to those offices and was told that somebody will look into it within two weeks. we really hope that will help and my case will be finally APPROVED!!!! We should have contacted senators much more earlier because we are over 200 days which is horrible. What´s wrong?

Also, when we called USCIS a few times before, we never get specific answer bu only were told to call in 30 days. Those people are so .... unhelpful!!!

Stay active in the process and use your senator/congressmen. Hopefully after we have all complained to them, they will see that not just illegal immigration needs fixed, but also LEGAL immigration.

This is awful when you keep seeing touches and more touches but anything is been done .

I hope everything changes within a couple of days or so good luck hang in there like I'm doing .

Have you used the RFE trick when you call? The 30 days thing sounds like the regular CSR. With an RFE, they should give you an answer 60 days after receiving it, that is the new processing timeline for your case. You hit 60 days a few days back (they count from 9/24, when they acknowledged receiving it and resuming processing). Call the using RFE trick and see what they have to say. That should get your approval to you. Unlike others, you actually had an RFE, and they are over the 60 days they get to finish processing.

I agree with Urge.. Nerdette, you should have heard something by now. With our approvals I received an email from USCIS for the approvals and a telephone call by USCIS. Then on November 26, 2007 our hard copies came in the mail. But, when you log on to the website the dates changed to November 20, 2007 but, our applications are showing pending... What a process??

I have this feeling your applications are approved but, its in transit. I would definately call trying the RFE trick.. Good luck!!!
