How do some people get their applications approved so quick? I alway am asking myself this when I am looking through the processing times.

For example, someone received the NOA1 for the i-129f on 10/10/2007 and approved on 11/2/07. How is this possible? I do notice that they their noa1 ofr the i-130 was in april, so I guess that is why it was approved so fast.

But there are instance when you see a I-130 was approved 2 months. NOA1/I-130 = 6/5/07 and NOA2/I-130 = 8/22/07

NOA1/I-130 = 9/10/07 and NOA2/I-130 = 11/15/07

I can understand approvals are not going to arrive in order. But when the average approval time takes 6 months and a handful of people are approved in 1 or 2 months, I just don't understand. Did they do something different? Maybe if your application was approved so quickly, please comment on why you think that happened?

Ctygl, I don't know why some people get approved that quickly. Perhaps they have filled in their timelines incorrectly and it only appears they got approved so quickly. I do know that for the I-129F, those that sent that in several months after their I-130, would make it look as if the former were being approved much more quickly than normal (but it's really because they sent their I-130 in so much earlier).

Ctygl - I wish i could respond with a correct answer but I cant. It makes no sense to me and I can not be jealous of a filer that filed later than me and has an approval or receipt number , its the luck of the draw, even tho it is not fair. The protocal according to USCIS is that they will process in order received "whatever that is".

Cheers and gl on your journey cause I think alot of us are in for one heck of a ride. I selling seatbelts on ebay fyi - want a good deal "-)

Why don't I ever get any responses to my questions???

I do not think anyone knows for sure, but some hypotheses are:

1. All documents filled out correctly

2. Ajudicator needs to make quota and finds a easy petition

3. Someone pulls strings
