I asked this in another thread but I guess I'll just ask here again...

Today my husband is supposed to mail out our I-485's for my son and I. We made one cheque for $1610.00. Is it okay that we are sending in one cheque? I have read mixed reviews about doing this and I am unsure...I have got him on hold from his lunch break until I get an answer. He is supposed to mail the package on his break. But I want to make sure we do it right.

Personally, I would (and I did) do seperate checks

It is very clear that 2 checks would be acceptable. If it's unknown whether 1 check is acceptable, just write 2 and remove the doubt.
