I had a dream last night that I got a denial on my AOS because on half of the paper work I put the name: "Smith" and the other half I put his actual last name. My husband kept asking me: "Where did you get the name Smith?"

I had no idea.

It was terrible.

I've had dreams about this too! In the one I can remember, I was comparing engagement rings with my friend's daughter (she is engaged too) and we started talking about wedding dates and I told her I had to wait for the "freaking expletive deleted immigration process" to be over. My friend was really upset that I'd said "freaking" in front of her younger daughter. The younger daughter is 17 and that really would be out of character for my friend to do. She told me I was not welcome in their house because of it!

For the first few nights of our honeymoon, we are probably going to stay at this B&B in Blaine that we just went to and loved; it is literally right ON the Canadian border, so I'm sure one or both of us will have the one about him accidentally crossing the border and not being able to come back before he gets his AP.

What is the name of it, Krikit? Err, to be perfectly honest, we, um, well, we didn't spend all that much time outside our fireplace-and-jacuzzi suite, but I still have the north sound guide with all the ads at home. I can see if it is in there.

Immigration dreams....

From May when I sent my AOS to October when I received my GC, I had the same dream about 5-6 times.

I was going back to Montreal to see my family, I was talking to my husband on the webcam ( like we used to) and while we were talking, we SUDDENLY realized "Oh no what did I do I came here before I got ym GC I cannot come back!!!!!!!!!!!!" And then I woke up panicked and had tears on my face....and saw my hubby by my side...

Omg it felt so real it was horrible. I can't imagine myself going through the Visa again......

I haven't tried to go back to Montreal yet because I am scared the GC won't be enough for them to let me in

I've been having nightmares about my upcoming interview at least twice weekly for the last few weeks. The night before last I have a vague recollection of dreaming that I was walking around a theme park with the interviewer, and he kept asking me strange questions about why I wanted to move to the US. The themepark was horrendous and looked like something from the Adam's family. I had the distinct feeling he was going to give me a denial, and by the time I woke up, it felt like he had been questioning me for hours.

I had the same dream, Mephys! Well.... maybe not the exact same dream. I didn't live in Montreal and we didn't use a webcam and I wasn't talking to your husband on it. But it was basically the same dream.

Sorry, Songbird. I thought it was in Blaine. Blaine has the place where you order what you're eating at the bar, they hand it to you raw, and then you cook it over the BBQ pits yourselves. :) This is what my Aunt says about the chicken place.....

It's not a restaurant Gillian. It is a grotty pub/cafe but has the best chicken ANYWHERE..and don't forget the Jo-Jo's!! It's called Algers Tavern and is in Bellingham. (on the outskirts) You go off the highway at Exit # 241 (I think!!) Who's going? Lucky things!!
