hi everybody

i would just like to know if after the interview (for fiance visa)

can someone else get your passport back other than you?

i would be having my interview this coming dec. 11 at US embassy here in bangkok

just wondering if i couldnt get my passport back the next day coz i would still be at work by that time can someone get it for me?

I wouldn't worry about work and get it yourself. If you get it I don't imagine you'll be working much longer anyway.

Also I don't know about Bangkok but most embassys don't release the visa the next day.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

The Thai Consulate used to give the passports back the very next day after the interview, with the Visa inside. I don't think that has changed since we received our visa about 8 months ago.

If you look at the Embassy Info link at the top of the VJ homepage, and then look at the Thai embassy specifically, you'll see that it still says the visa is issued the day after the interview.
