Good day yesterday, Bad day today

If you read my post yesterday you will know it was a good day, the lawyer the US company employed managed to get a case number and I booked the medical, I also received the official offer letter from the US company.

Today it all went pear shaped, the lawyers have been chasing approval of the I-130 and it turns out the embassy (USCIS) have LOST all the extra information they requested, photo's, emails, flight details and affidavits. The slight good news is that the lawyer took copies of it all before sending it in, thank god I have them, if I had been on my own still I would of had to go through it all again.:ranting:

I'm so mad at them, don't they realise they are messing with peoples lives and that people are planning major moves based on this stuff!!!!!

Anyway, I'm off to bed to put an end to this day

The process is bad enough without them making things worse by thier own flipping incompetence. I am glad that the lawyer had the forethoughtto make copies of everything before sending it all off to them, I hope everything gets back on course for you.

We who are going through the process are not people to them, we are just a number and a reason to get out of bed and go to work in the morning.

They LOST it?????? Good God. :o

:crying: Oh dear oh dear. I was wondering what happened to your petition. Since getting an RFE, although annoying, ususally means that you are top of the list, and will be approved when the info comes in.

That is tooooo bad, I'm so sorry Jmaster, I hope they can sort themselves out and get the rest of the process done for you double quick. Good thing you got the copies.

They have at least acknowledged that they lost the letter. What really annoys me is that within the packet is stuff like wedding pics and an original wedding order of service - grrrr

But hey, like the lawyer said to me yesterday, its a waste of time getting angry at them cause they just shut down and say tough, you just have to keep on their good side I suppose and apeal to thier better side (however tempting it is to phone them up and unload all your frustration on them !!!)

Well, they found it  That's good. Wow. This process should come with a health warning for people with heart conditions! It's not for the faint hearted.

Hope they don't take another 2 weeks off for christmas, and you get this whole thing finished up soon. (L)

Just been informed by the lawyers that they have recieved notice that the I-130 is Approved - YAY

I'm also hoping that they don't take two weeks off for Xmas, the big test now is, have I saved any time by re-submitted my 230 Part 2??

Anyway, I have my Medical tomorrow so that should be fun !! (espesially as the wonderful NHS has lost all my jab details so I will have to have them done all again)
