We usually go to this really nice tree farm where you hop on a carriage and they take you into the "forest" to pick your tree. They give you the options to cut it or have them put it in a pot, which is what we usually do.

So we never pick what we want for a christmas tree, but what would look good in the yard afterwards

People who murder trees for their own enjoyment make me sick.

I enjoy the smell of a bloody corpse.... Is it okay if I grab a person off of the street, kill them, and prop them up in my living room? Why not? I like trees more than I like people....

Ahhh, my wonderful husband. He always brings me home the BEST PRESENTS EVAR! :P

i'd say he's got all the skills needed to be a moderator on vj

I don't really like people either - so yeah, it's ok. Solves the overpopulation problem.

We have a fake tree, since dear hubster is allergic. *sigh*

At home, we had a real tree that we got in the woods behind our house. Nowadays, in the municipality my parents live in, Christmas trees are mulched and composted. Works out well.

We have a 12 ft artificial, pre-lit tree that hubby dragged down from the attic today and assembled. Every year we manage to set it up wrong  ! The thing is there are three pieces to the tree. The top has an A,but the bottom has a B! Now you'd think B would be the middle piece, like A,B C...but no, B stands for bottom! Hence, we always get confused.

Anyway, good times all around today.

Merry Christmas.

I bought a living tree last year from TJ's. It was small, but cute and it's still alive! I will dress it in its finery again this year, a few small baubles and a strand of lights.

Family tradition was to only put the decorations up on chistmas eve and just keep them up the twelve days. I stick by the tradition because that way we don't get bored with the decorations, they still seem like something special.

Every family has its own traditions and things they like to do which is totally cool. I have to admit though, I have a weakness for sparkly lights. :P

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
