Our case was received by NVC on Nov. 14 - we are using an attorney - therefore they are automatically designated 'agent'.

I called NVC this morning and in hoping to hear that they have generated the AOS bill - the message said that "the AOS AND IV bills have been sent on Nov. 26 ... " Does this mean they actually mailed them - or does it just indicate they were generated?? Or how long do you think it might be before the attorney receives them? I read through the post regarding the automated messages and didnt find one that actually said 'sent' but rather generated ...

Is this normal for them to send both bills at the same time, as I know each has its own 'path' but doesnt the IV bill usually come a little later?!?

It means, AOS Fee Bill and IV Fee Bill are generated, it does not mean they are mailed to you. They usually mail them few days after they generated them. Since your attorney is already your choice of agent, NVC did not send you any DS 3032 (choice of agent), therefore, your IV fee bill is generated earlier.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Thank you for the clarification simple male ... just wanted to get a better 'grasp' on our timeline and when we might actually receive the bills - and that it was somewhat normal for them to be sent out together.
