I want to amend my feelings on the Santa Clause movies.. I realized that I had never seen the 3rd one and now that I have I think it is way better then the 2nd one but still not as good as the first...

What are your favourite movies to watch around Christmas time???

Mine are...

The Santa Clause - (only the first one - the 2 sequels suck.. why mess with a good thing?? )

My hubby and I watched Fred Claus a few weeks ago... we both really liked it and I think I am going to add it to my Christmas movie must watch every year list...

we also saw Bad Santa.. I could see what it was tying to do but I think it went too far... the kid was funny though...

While I can listen to Mozart, Beethoven, Saint Saens', and my favorite, Nikolai Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov, hey that's another Nick, over and over again, watching any movie once is enough for me.

Wife got tired of me commenting when plugging in a DVD, hey, copying a DVD carries the same fine and prison term if I married you only to bring you into this country so I don't say that anymore. But fast forward doesn't work, my trick is to load the DVD while we are watching something else, then switch over. Sick and tired of being threatened constantly for a DVD I either legally own or have legally rented.

Then I am bugged by Sony, a Japanese company that stole NASA technology to develop the VCR making so much money and with the help of Reagan, was able to buy a good chunk if not all of it of our entertainment industry. Perhaps why I enjoy most watching TMC when America was America, damned, I am living in the past. But hey, I watch movies for entertainment. I like to point out to my wife when some of these latest films are brainwashing us to form our opinions, makes watching some of these films more bearable.

Surprised the ACLU hasn't banned these old movies, they are saying really dirty things like, "Merry Christmas", dang you can get arrested today for saying that.

Oh, and that poem, Twas the Night Before Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, and Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer have managed to take all the holiness out of Christmas and make it a commercial success.
