A courageous act indeed. Especially if I still have my other arm to threaten you with. :P

Well that's the arm I'd cut off first -- not the arm caught in the harvester, obviously!

It never ceases to amaze me, the human capacity for survival. As gruesome as that may seem, under those same circumstances, I think a lot of us would have done the same to survive.

Absolutely! I'd cut off your arm in a second if my life was threatened! :P

I don't think I would have nor could have.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Trophy. I'd put it next to my collection of blood slides.

Speaking of trophy arms and cutting off one's arm, I saw Beowulf over the weekend. Grendel makes the whole movie worth watching...other than that, it's a silly and shallow story and all the characters are one dimensional.

couple questions come to mind...

was the thing still running when he reached into it? could he have unlodged whatever he was reaching for without using his hand? Is this a failed Darwin Award?

I don't think I could do this either but I'd like to think I would find a way to get the job done that didn't jeopardize my body...:unsure:
