That is excellent! Then you can go and just enjoy your time with your hubby. When do you leave?

This morning I really took what you said to heart and went ahead and sent my attorney the 70 dollar fee and the 380 dollar fee so I had all my fees paid. All he is missing is the DS230 and the copy of my husbands new passport and the police and army certificates. I have already sent him my affadavit of support for the year and all the other police reports.

That is excellent! Then you can go and just enjoy your time with your hubby. When do you leave?

I am trying to make sure my attorney has everything he needs before I leave to be able to send things off ( in the order that they are received. I know that the DS230 and the passport and stuff like that are the last things that need to be sent off. I am trying to get all the other papers together so he has everything he needs to go.. I have no idea when exactly my things will hit the national visa center and how fast they will generate fee bills but the fact that I have all my papers at my attorneys office already together with the fees should help..

I will have to sit down with my husband in Algeria and do the DS230 and mail it to the attorney when I get back together with the the police certificate and copy of his passport.

Its been a long , hard sad and stressful year. My main concern right now is reuniting with him... Eating with him..and just being quiet with him.. I am sick of the phone.. the net.. the separation etc. I did not think with all the things that have happened that I would have even seen an approval this soon. All signs were pointing towards January as an approval date coupled with other peoples timelines. When I did an RFE trick, they told me on the 15th that I was no where near being seen by an adjudicator and things were really backed up. They only had my file one day and approved it but that may have had something to do with the fact that I already had an alien number for him, I already had a file that was 2 inches thick. I had sent phone records, pictures, a wedding card, our marriage contract AND the actual certificate, all the records, explanation letters, copy of my permanent injunction from my ex from abusing me and my son, I mean you name it , I sent it. I also sent everything with that clip at the top with exhibits like exhibit a b c d with a table of contents.....The lawyer did the case like a death penalty appeal and sent along copies of my approved 129f from him, plane tickets, hotel receipts.. I mean my file was crazy thick.

For the interview I am working on a self published photo book all bound and ready and I am going to bind all the phone records together as well. I do not need to do a choice of agent so I think that will shave a few weeks off my petition time as well. All my affadavits are already done except his DS230 and I really need to sit down with him in Algeria and get that.. I do not want to be pushing him to get this paper and that paper when I am there. I just want to be happy and enjoy the food and the music and my time with him.. This year has torn us to shreds LITERALLY and its been horrible pressure and strain having a petition fail and having to go to another country and spend thousands of dollars to get married and fly here there and everywhere. If we survive all of this, I will be amazed. I am not going to lie to you... I have spent hours on my bed crying face down...we have just been through the ringer and it aint over yet. I have no idea whether we will be stuck in security checks at NVC or on AP after the interview or what he will face there... I am just really realistic about everything.. our marriage.. the strain.. this process.. but I am actually glad we are doing the CR1 after all because of the fact that I will not have to deal with alot of new fees when he gets here and he will have a greencard ( albeit temporary) He does not know how to drive a car so that s not going to be an issue.. but I will have to teach him to drive.. Now that sounds extremely stressful..

Love you guys.. please hope for the best for me and my husband.. I want a happy reunion and I want us to really thrive and be ok... after this long and hard and sad year...2007 has been the crappiest year of my life.. Truly... work wise ... life wise.. its just been a really really really really long year. I filed the fiancee petition on January 8th and I feel that this approval is really my first approval .... so it took in excess of 11 months to get out of the USCIS as far as I am concerned. The NVC is really going to be another hurdle but the lawyer doesnt think it will be that bad because I dont have to choose an agent and both fee bills will arrive to him simultaneously.
