If you fill in your timeline you will get an estimated NOA2 date. If you only sent your petition in August then it is a bit early to hear anything yet. There is a queue of people and the only grounds for expedite are imminent military deployment.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

A congressperson will not get involved at this point. You really haven't been waiting that long yet.

I believe you are still well within the norm so contacting an elected representative probably won't do much good.

Depending on who your Congressman is, they may help you or not. My Congresswoman was totally worthless. I was able to obtain results from going to my senator (who sent the inquiry via the congressional channels). Just google for who they are and write them a paper letter. You may have to make a follow up phone call, but they will at least talk to you and try and help if possible.

Good Luck!

The answer to your question: Write your Representative.

It would be really helpful if you'd fill out your timeline. I'm not sure if you mean that you filed on August 20th, or if you filed at some other point but got NOA1 or NOA2 or a touch or RFE on August 20th. You can fill out your timeline here.
