Greetings VJrs,

My wife and I filed her AOS, EAD and AP applications a little over a year ago and while the EAD and AP were approved in about three months, we are still waiting for I-485 (green card) approval pending FBI name check.

We will be travelling to Colombia to visit her family in May 08 and, since her original AP will expire 1-31-08, we need to re-apply for the travel document in case her green card doesn't come through by that time (hey, miracles do happen).

Do I need to pay the filing fee again, as in the original? I seem to remember that there is no extra filing fee to *renew* the AP travel document, but I can't seem to find this information in the new filing fee schedule.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Take care

Since you applied for AOS prior to July 30, 2007 you will need to pay the filing fee again. Feeless renewal of EAD and AP began when the new AOS fee took effect on July 30th.
