my husband has his biometric appointment tomorrow at 9:00. he is fine with it but for some reason i am a little nervous. what happens after the biometrics? should we just sit and wait for a letter from them?

Dont worry, everything will be ok. Biometrics takes about 15-20 min. After 7 days check your status on line and you should know if your husband is approved. I got my EAD card after 10 days. :thumbs:

Biometrics is painless, my husband went in and they took more fingerprints and more photos, now the waiting begins.... we are still waiting......

Yes, the actual biometrics only takes 10 minutes or so, but we waited for 2.5 hours from when our appoitment was to the actual taking of fingerprints, etc. All he did was go up, fill out a very small form and get pictures and fingerprints taken. We got the EAD 1 week to the day from the appoitment. Good luck.

Met on internet 6/04. Married at court house in Aba, Nigeria 12/04. 3/05 traditional ceremony in Nigeria w/ my picture. 12/05 finally together again. 4/06 ceremony/celebration in the states together
