Also make sure that your birth certificates and marriage certificates are legalized with RENIEC and also by ministerio del exterior. This is all be needed to be sent with the DS230.

Does anybody know what police certficates to submit when doing and I-130 in Peru? Thanks.

yes. Thanks. My wife got all 3 from Lima, now she has to travel to Tarapoto for one as well. Thanks. again.

I just got a letter saying my police certificates have to be translated, so now i have to translater them tommorrow.

I never knew they had to be translated!

I just got a letter saying my police certificates have to be translated, so now i have to translater them tommorrow.

I never knew they had to be translated!

It's in the instructions for the DS-230, right at the top of the list of civil documents you have to submit:

Translations

"All documents not in English, or in the official language of the country in which application for a visa is being made, must be accompanied by certified translations.

The translation must include a statement signed by the translator that states that the:

Translation is accurate, and

Translator is competent to translate".
