I had my mom buy me an xpress-post envelope and send it to me here in the US since I'm visiting right now, and my interview is in 10 days, but this thing isn't much smaller than my x-ray. I read a post from IR5FORMUMSIE a while back describing the exact measurements, and gave those to my mom for the envelope, so I don't think she could possibly have gotten the wrong one, but now I'm having my doubts!

Anyways, I don't have a scanner so I can't upload a pic of this thing, but it says in the bottom left hand corner of the envelope that it is a 2 day on time delivery guarantee, and the measurements are 314 x 394 mm. (Just seems rather big to put one little tiny passport into, but anywhoo...)

Can anyone confirm if this big old thing is the right envelope?

yeah it was a pretty big enveloppe :)

Had to fold mine in 2 to fit it in my plastic bag. Im pretty sure you got the right one! And yeah if the measurements are right on the enveloppe, than this is it!

Sounds right per Montreal supplement - instructions:

In purchasing Xpresspost mailers at Canada Post, please note the following:

• The mailer should be the 314 mm x 394 mm size (12 inches by 15 inches).

won't they be sending more then just the passport?? like a big envelope of stuff you have to hand over at the POE??

Oops, I forgot about that part  With that in mind, the envelope doesn't seem quite so big and gangly now, since they do have to have enough room to cram that big brown envelope into as well.

Thanks for the info guys, I can finally breathe again. Must be the right one :)
