Am so happy to have received an appointment for 5th May at noon - so hopefully I will be able to get my work permit and social security number soon after - not to mention my drivers licence !!!!!! I thought I would have to go to Atlanta for biometrics seeing as I am in Georgia, but they have scheduled me to attend Jacksonville Florida which is closer!

03/02/09 Case transferred to CSC

04/04/2009 Received approval letter

03/31/2009 Date of Decision

05/01/2009 Card production ordered

05/07/2009 Received card

Thank you everyone for all your good wishes - I certainly feel like I have now truly started my "visa journey" lets just hope the road ahead isn't too much of a bumpy one!!!!
