And as far as "Hamas rockets".... um I think you are confused again. *Most* of the rockets fired from Gaza are launched by Islamic Jihad, al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, and other groups. Some of these are affiliated with Fatah (Hamas' arch-rival.)

Furthermore, the Qassam rocket can't exactly be "launched at soft targets" because it doesn't even have a guidance system -- it is fired into the air and nobody knows where it will land. Many have landed on Palestinians.

Anyway, if you look at the stats, the "threat" of the Qassam rockets has been obviously exaggerated. Since October 2001, when these rockets were first launched from Gaza, precisely 13 Israelis have been killed by Qassams -- that's THIRTEEN -- an extremely small percentage of Israeli victims of terror. Qassams are really wayyyyy down on the list of serious security concerns to the Israelis -- but Tel Aviv likes to hype them for PR purposes because clueless Americans like you lap this stuff up.

Now let us return to the topic, since we have thoroughly dealt with the issue of demonizing an entire religion based on articles like this one. I am glad to see that most people got the point !

not necessarily true....the russians, who pretty much made rockets a major part of their military arsenal, could predict fairly well where one would land and the cep of many of them was quite small.
