USCIS Texas Center received app on June 7 2007

a few weeks afetr received NOA (extension 1 year)

Received biometric app on August

NOvember 2007 still waiting

How long did it took you to get approve.. I want to change my job and is really hard when companies only see a paper with 1 YEAR extension....

Now the processing time says April 7... a month ago said April 3.... they move 4 days in a month! what is going on!!!!?????

One word that describes this process is "Patience" Mine ended a long time ago. I have been waiting for my appl to be approved since July 06.

july 06?? they havent tell you what is going on???? because I know people that filed way after you and got approve already...

The processing time posted on the USCIS site for TSC is to be taken no more seriously than your horoscope in the local paper.

Unfortunately, I-751s sent to TSC between the end of January and the end of June have been sitting in limbo land. At the end of June, TSC started transferring newly filed I-751s to CSC, where they have been more or less processed promptly.

A couple of weeks ago, TSC seemed to start moving again, approving a couple of I-751s that were filed by people here on VJ back in late January and early February. Nothing since then, though.

There are many of us from the Vermont service center in the same situation.... none of us have been transfered to CSC we too are in limbo!!!!

It's pathetic, too. Not to mention unfair, given that there are people who sent their I-751s to TSC in late August who have been approved already only because TSC transferred them to CSC.

but why is the tranfer due to??? and how you find out if your case has been transfer????

They were approved precisely because their case was transferred to CSC from TSC. . Apparently, something happened in TSC in June that caused them to basically stop processing I-751s. Anyone who has sent their I-751 to TSC since the end of June has been transferred to CSC. They can't transfer your case or mine because we've already been put into the process at TSC by having our checks cashed by TSC and a TSC case number assigned. The people who are being transferred to CSC just have their whole packages sent to CSC, checks and all.
