I-129 Sent to NBC

I received an email today saying that my case has been sent to the NBC not the NVC. Why would my case go to the NBC I am filling a I-129 for fiancé.

Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing because it has jurisdiction over the case.

On November 26, 2007, we transferred this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. Where did you file the I-129F in the first place? It should have been sent to Vermont or California.

I-129F to NBC tends to be for K-3 cases.

I sent it to USCIS in California. Form 1-129 for Fiancé I did not file a K-3 because we are not married.

Can be an error sent out by USCIS email system, this is not unusual.
