I received an email today saying that my case has been sent to the NBC not the NVC. Why would my case go to the NBC I am filling a I-129 for fiancé.

Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing because it has jurisdiction over the case.

On November 26, 2007, we transferred this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Where did you file the I-129F in the first place? It should have been sent to Vermont or California.

I-129F to NBC tends to be for K-3 cases.

Can be an error sent out by USCIS email system, this is not unusual.
