I just wanted to point out processing time for Nebraska Service Center.

I checked last Monday and they were processing application received through 09.09.07. I check today and they are already processing applications received on 11.07.07.

Mine was received on 11.08.07 and checked was cashed about a week later. I should be hearing from them soon!!

Do you think this may be a typo on their part or are they really that ahead? Here is the link

I know that. The processing time for my area is about 7 months. So I will be happy when I receive my receipt so that it can give me a better idea as to what my wait may be.

I also want to have my ticket number so that I can check it online. I still think it is fast compared to what it has been a few weeks ago.

Filed: Timeline

NSC is quite fast among the rest of service centers.

However, I filed my N-400 on September of 2007 and got my NOA on Nov 20, 2007.

It might be some delay between two updates. When you check that website on Monday. The staff at NSC were already working application data entry of Oct. 2007. I believe whatever you see is correct as of now. The following is the snapshot of the web page.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As of November 23, 2007, USCIS has completed initial data entry and

issued receipt notices for applications and petitions received on or before the dates indicated:

California Service Center

Form Number Date Received

I-130 8/30/2007

N-400 10/15/2007

All Other Forms 11/08/2007

Nebraska Service Center

Form Number Date Received

N-400 11/07/2007

All Other Forms Current

Texas Service Center

Form Number Date Received

N-400 7/29/2007

All Other Forms Current

Vermont Service Center
