Had our interview on Tuesday Nov 20th Did not sleep at all the night before. My wife checked, double checked, and triple checked all of our paperwork and doccumentation to make sure that we were more than ready. The interview was at 8:30 we got there at 7:50. We got called into the interview office at 8:22 and got through at 9:12. I observed at least two couples, and from the looks on their faces as well as their disposition they did not get approved because of one thing or another, I dared not ask them but it made us even more nervous

:help: The Interview as well as the interviewer was very direct and to the point, this interviewer fired one question after another at what seemed like an eternity, some of the questions that I remember were as follows

1. How long have we known each other

2. Where did we meet

3. How many times have my wife been to the US in her life (Yes in her life)

4. What is the longest she has stayed when she came to the US

5. What type of Visa did she come here to visit on

6. Has she ever overstayed

7. Have I ever been to England to visit her

8. Did we get married in a church or the Courthouse

9. How many times have each of us been married

10. If we had any children from our prior marriage and the ages of the children

11. What grade our daughter was in (She was there as well)

12. Did she like school

13. Did my wife have any felonies or has she had any dealings with Law Enforcement

14. Had she ever been charged with prostitution (that is a very big deal with these interviewers)

15. Did we live in a house or apartment. If a house did I own it and if so was my wife on the lease

16. Have my wife been out of the country since she has been there

There were more about two or three more questions but I can't remember them, my brian has just thawed out from the interview so I was able to remember the ones posted. They ask for doccumentation that they already had so whatever you do please take EVERYTHING you have ever filed, I know it sound redundant but far better safe than sorry.

The most sweetest sound that i have ever heard next to my wife saying "I do" was the sound of the interviewer informing us that we were approved. She typed up the approval letter then ststed "We have a problem" :crying: But the problem was that I forgot to sign a paper.:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: We finally got the letters for both my wife and daughter and all three of us walked out of there on rubber legs What an early Christmas Present :dance::dance::dance::dance:

In Closing when you go to the interview please make sure that you and your spouse have all your bases covered because it's the small insignificant questions that can really trick you up. And make sure you take all the paperwork that you have ever filed although you may not need it, as I stated previously better safe than sorry
