Hi everyone,

We have been in this process forever waiting in Administrative processing since my husbands interview at the Cairo Embassy in 02/2007.

Anyway this is my problem and question. I did not go ahead and file the I-130 as we were waiting for him to get here and do AOS. Now I have gotten a letter from the NVC stating that now that it has been over a year since we filed this that the visa application is going to become invalid/expire. I have been in contact with the NVC weekly about our case and the case # that they have on this letter. What is the situation with this and what are my options here?

omg Becky! sounds scary... bcz I know i filed for i 129f and i 130 and adam got his interview from the i 129f being sent to the embassy ... his interview was in May... but we are still stuck waiting on the MC paper... so we are tied up as well and without visa I dont know what to do ... im in contact with my senators office...

Call DOS and try to get in contact with ur senators office so they can find out something for u !

Hello Becky and Sam,

As I was reading this, I wondered if you ever got all this straightened out. You two have been waiting so long, it is a shame you have to go through more headaches besides administrative processing.

If you get a chance, let us know how this all turned out.

Becky I too didn't follow up with my I-130 because this freeking K-3 was suppose to be faster then the I-130..But when I called them about the other info they needed they told me from the date I called changed the expire date. So did you try to call them?? As soon as I get home I'm getting a lawyer and haveing her finnish up the paper work requested from the I-130 and see if that will move much faster then Cairo.....Also I regrete not filling out there request much faster. I went to the embacy and that did me no good nada zilch.... They wouldn't let me in the doors. Keep me informed
