You file I-485 and I-130 together, and code I-485 "Based on approved relative petition" (a)

1. Based on an immigrant petition.

B. You are filing this application with a completed relative petition, special immigrant juvenile petition or special immigrant military petition which if approved would make an immigrant visa number immediately available to you.

Completed relative petition is the I-130 form in same envelope as I-485.

Nope! Can't file the K4 before the K3.

Do them at the same time.

$1010 for wife and $600 for the child.

OUCH!

Go for the EAD for both as they can get SS cards then.
