Did anyone see the movie "I'm not there"?

I saw it last night and I grew up listening to Bob Dylan because he's my brother's favorite and my parents always listened to him. I have been to over 20 of his concerts and thought I knew a lot about him.

I didn't like the movie. It was too bizarre for me. I thought that the acting was good but I left the theater saying "I have no idea what just happened."

Am I missing something?

I actually really wanted to leave during the movie but I kept thinking that it might get better. The whole part with Richard Gere was just too much for me.

Did anyone else see it?

This was my reaction after going to see one of Bob's concerts about 3 years ago. My sentiments on Bob are pretty much stated above by Mr FP.

I think I'll skip the movie after your review :blink:

Yes, that's the one. She did an excellent job. She'll probably win some awards for that.

I saw a clip of her playing him, but I didn't realise what the film was called. She did look like him actually, but she is slightly androgynous anyway, so is probably ideal for playing a role like this. Plus she is an amazing actress too.
