is it ok to use the tax returns of 2006 if the interview is in Jan,22,2008?? what is the alternative if not?? please help

My K3 petition was returned back to USCIS on Jan,22nd,2008 and i am still waiting till this moment to hear from the USCIS

I dont think it matters cause everyone has until April 2007 to file their taxes. But I agree with the comment posted above. You should provide your 2007 pay stubs which really should be in your bank deposit for the past year on your affidavit of support.

Since one does not have to file 2007 taxes until 15 April 2008. I would say, of course! It is the latest tax filing for an interview scheduled for January 2008.

Good if you can get the 2007 W2 and have it in hand even if you don't have the 2007 ITR.

It's ideal if the petitioner does the 2007 ITR and you have that also.

He would have to get the W2 and fill out the 1040 and get it to you FAST tho.

People have done so.

Faxing the ITR is allowed.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship
