St Georges Day

We have friends from the UK here for the weekend as they cross the states on vacation. So I have a few beers and smirnoff ice in ready to raise a glass to Blighty.

I will also be raising my Cross of St George flag on our pole, not that the locals have a clue what it is!!

Anyone else got any plans to celebrate?

Sarah

Can you explain St. George Day? Isn't he the guy that rode around slaying dragons ?

Here's a pint to St. George!!

7-3-06 GREEN CARD ARRIVES IN MAIL!!!! Done for two years!!!!!!

I am here to help, even if it's just to offer my shoulder to cry or vent on... We are all in this together.!

My answers are based on personal experience, not fact.

We are on this rollercoaster ride together holding on for dear life.

do anything special...naaaaaaaaah...they are just a day to eat...

July 4th, have a bbq (watching fireworks is cool too *shrug*)....Thanksgiving, roast a turkey and collapse in front of the tv for a nap. Nothing more than that...I'm not sure I know anyone who get's into some kinda special celebration though... day off, eat a good meal...hehehe

Same for us for Easter... go to a good brunch. :D
