She's not staff, she's volunteer.

We're all volunteers Cassie. Nobody gets paid. If you have elevated privileges, you are "staff."

My question stands.

Just clearing that up, so that others who may not know realize that the mods and such don't do it for pay. ;)

Perhaps your questions may get better answers in a PM to Wookie or Ewok. Just a thought.

Fair enough, and apologies for the grumpy reply. I'm grumpy. :)

If you enter with intention of not leaving, you are committing fraud. Do you think we would all just be waiting for the process, apart, if it were legal to fraudulantly use a tourist visa for a purpose other than a round trip?

D&N, your little crusade is becoming increasingly annoying.

Do us all a favor and shut the hell up.

:lol:D&N does have a valid point.

hmm

there are many comments - and people - here which frequently annoy me, but I didn't think that gave me carte blanche to be rude to them

perhaps I should reconsider this rather naive belief

Well put!

*sigh*

No.

The original poster NEVER mentioned entering the country and not leaving, which is what D&N said.

The original poster NEVER asked about using her 'tourist visa' (which she doesn't have because she's Canadian and they don't need them) for anything other than a round trip, which is what D&N said.

The poster never asked how to commit FRAUD, which is what D&N accused her of.

The only POINT that D&N made, or you make zqt, whenever either of you continue your little tirades about 'fraud' is the point that you clearly don't understand what fraud is.

This poster was asking how she could legally spend as much time as possible with her fiance while the petition is in process. Is that something any of us would like to do? Is that something you would like to do? Is that something you are ENVIOUS of some people having the ability to do?

Just to clarify, once more, being an organizer comes with NO privileges. They are not VJ staff or admin. What they type on these boards carries no more weight than a normal members' post content.

Now, back to topic, please.

Mags, with all due respect, it IS part of the topic.

Any misconception that some members have about propriety of the OP's intentions is part of the topic.

I meant the talk about organizers and their roles. :D

Fine, that's the last I'll say on the topic. But if organizers have no privileges then it sure would be nice to see a moderator step in to tell them their personal attacks are also off-topic.

I think that's what happened to me in this thread yesterday, unless I miss my guess.
