I believe the United States has been stuck at 50 states for far too long. Those oceans aren't as formidable as they used to be. It's time we expanded and brought the gift of freedom to the whole world. Why should North America hog the glory of being American?

Touché

We should build a mono-rail from Mexico to the USA and have no immigration checkpoints along the way.

That's insane! I say gather them all in a big group and make them WALK back to Mexico...with no shoes.

we agree. debate over ;)

You can't be for real.

I'm not. I'm a bot.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

I totally agree with you mr. as. As the major success story of the british empire it is incumbent upon us to pick up, dust off, and shoulder that glorious "burden" which has of late fallen by the wayside. We will require legions of fervent, bicycle-mounted volunteers, bankers and franchise owners... but we can triumph over the darkness that is the rest of the world.

Well, I think most corporate CEO's are underpaid, overworked, and deserve more bonuses that they have been getting. They pay too much in taxes too!

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

I think all professional athletes should go on strike since they don't get paid enough. Poor guys, I mean how is one supposed to pay for all those vacation homes and keep up with all the hot new cars on the market?

rich English people should not be allowed to buy ANY houses in Wales for the purpose of vacations because every person in Wales is poor and struggles to buy a house to live in therefore they reserve the right to burn the holiday homes of the rich English people to the ground..............hehehehehe.....hows about that for someting different to talk about......

Glad you said that English people shouldnt be allowed to buy homes in Wales for vacation purposes only because Wales is pretty much the only place in the UK you can afford to buy a house period. I had to move from London to Merthyr Tydfil of all places a few years ago cause I couldnt afford to rent on my own and my mum has also been pushed to Swansea because she also cant afford to buy property anywhere else. She doesnt even like it there but she has no other choice!

LONDON TO CALIFORNIA ....

I guess the idea of human beings having to do that IS funny. I must have something wrong with my sense of humor.

Yeah. And don't forget the upkeep on those hot chicks, either. They need to be wined and dined and shite. That doesn't come cheap. They don't do Applebees or Friday's, folks.

And then there's the damn bloodsucking lawyers they need to pay to get out of DUI and rape charges and all that nonsense. Poor things, I tell you. Considering all they're going through, they don't get paid #######. And here are taxpayers whining about the little extra on their property tax bill to pay for the new stadium and the upkeep of that and the old one. Get real, folks! Fork over that petty cash to pro sports. It's nothing compared to what the pro athletes have to deal with...

Whatever your last name is should dictate what religion you follow in life.

Also, you should label yourself a certain religion, and then do nothing to actually live like that religion asks of you.

They should just open the borders of US and let anyone who wants to , to come in. No more visas or passports required to enter!

(this is like the game we'd play as kids.."it's opposite day!" hehe) :P
