Hi everyone. Does any one here worked in Saudi Arabia and appiled for a K1 visa?Do you need to get a police clearance from there? I've been in two websites already and the information I got is these: Saudi Arabian police certificates are not available to all other temporary residents, including those who have previously been temporarily resident in Saudi Arabia. Please help my fiance has a scheduled interview this coming Jan 7, 2008.

No, I've been in Saudi Arabia for 7 years, and they do not issue police clearance, the USEM is aware of that. (F)

my husband did get a police clearance from saudi arabia. he had to go to the embassy and get a letter or something from them and take it to the police dept where they fingerprinted him and after a few days gave him the clearence letter. we did the k-3 tho but im sure it must be the same for k-1 also.

they did give him a hard time at the police station and they were not happy about having to do it. they told hm we dont work for the us government and dont like getting orders from them. but my husband stood his ground with them and did not let up.

Police clearances are unavailable for third country nationals who no longer reside in the Kingdom.

When the clearance in unavailable, you won't be expected to have one for that country.
