Hello everybody;

I had the interview at casa this morning & everything went fine untill I was given the 221g for more "Administrative Processing" (see attachement).

After the CO gave me the 221g, I asked him if its a denial or what?? got a respnse that its a normal procedure & that my case is very good, he aslo said that he doesnt doubt the sincerity of the relationship.

btw, I got the male CO (nice guy).

I know that a lot of people going thru casa now a days get the 221g, so could you please share your experience.

Did you get the same 221g as I did?? & does that mean that it will be sent back to the USA or is it just security checks??

thank you all, :thumbs:

Exactly what we got. Just standard FBI security clearances. Wait times seem to be running anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months maybe. You can check on the status of the FBI checks by calling the DOS at (202)663-1225.

Hope your AP goes very fast. Congrats on the interview success!

You are on administrative processing. It can last for weeks or months and there is no time limit on it. They will not tell you anything about what they are checking and you can have field investigation with this as well. Good luck and pray for patience on the remainder of your journey. Hopefully, it will not take too long and congratulations on your interview.

I agree with everyone here, just standard AP, so don't stress. You should have your visa soon.

Don't worrie everything will be fine... My husband got his visa today.. :dance::dance::dance: His appoitment was Feburary 6th. He was given a 221g as well. We were so afraid at first, until we learned more... You can call the visa center at 202-663-1225 they don't give out much information at all usally, I found that there were only 2 different people who would tell me much of anything.. I usally got more information in the afternoon. Most of the time I was told it's still processing... That gets a bit frustrating. :wacko: It just takes patients... :whistle: We were married May 11, 2005 in Casablanca, Morocco and we are very excited about our first anniversary... I will keep you in my prayers... Jackie..... jackielovesnabil

Congratulations... :thumbs: I think my husband saw your husband today.... My husband picked up his visa as well in casabanca today... He was telling me of a guy who was there getting his visa when he was there.. Perhaps it was your husband... I wish you two to have a wonderful life, may you be blessed... Jackie... jackielovesnabil

Thank you VJ members for all your support, makes this whole process so much easier when u know you have some friends you can realy on, especialy if these friends are on the same boat. Btw, I just remembered that the CO never asked me of any proof of on going relationship, except for our pictures that he went thru!!! not even the I-134 or the tax papers, is that normal too???

Thank you all once again, & I'm keeping you all in my prayers.May GOD reunite you with your loved ones soon, AMEN....

Yes, that is absolutely normal. They often do that in cases they approve.

Thats all they looked at with ours...and ours was sent back to the CIS! :crying: But we had the younger man...don't know his name, and I heard that he doesn't look at much evidence. Still, no stress for you, your journey is soon to end.

We had the younger guy and he looked at almost nothing. You were one of the lucky ones like us.

It's great to see at least some approvals through Casa.
