Well, my wife of one year arrived in the U.S. in June this year and we almost immediately started having marital problems. We had lived together for over three years prior to me returning to the U.S. and then petitioning for her. Anyway, I had sent her through basic nursing school and we had discussed her coming to the U.S. to go to work. She has been acting very strange, not communicating with me but communicating very well indeed with some of her countrymen/relatives. What am I to do? The tension just gets worse with every day and I am contemplating applying for a divorce. What are my "obligations" since she has only been in the U.S. for a few months on a 2 year Conditional Residence "Green Card". :help:

i would search marital counseling or just try to approach the matter very strongly...it's difficult but if you feel that she really loves you or that she is really worth it, you should do this...don't be scared to approach the problem face to face because this is just going to make you have a greater distance. confront her in a very calm and resignated way..i cannot tell you how to act legally on this, but because i can imagine how hard it is for you i am telling you to confront the matter and see if she is not feeling lonely, or maybe she feels that you are not giving her attention. try to see this from various angles. i am the foreign fiancee and i love my ken deeply. but i am aware that in the usa i will have no friends and family, and i know for sure that if my fiancee won't do his best to keep me with my spirits up, if he won't give an effort to unerstand that sometimes i miss my home folks, then the marriaage will fail. i hope you will have a solution in the end, just keep calm and god bless!
