got a probleme, I'm trying to do the form I-864 from uscis website, I downloaded but I can't type in the blanks, what am I dooing wrong????

Not all of the forms can be typed on, from what I remember from doing my own forms. Only a few of them are set so you can type in the blanks. Alternatively, you may need to update your program that reads PDFs, but I'm pretty sure that the I-864 isn't a 'fillable' form.

You can download a fillable version from there. If you have acrobat you can then save it but if not you can atleast fill it in and print it out which you may want to print a few copies so you have them for future refernce.

I-864 from uscis.gov is not a fillable form, I have no idea why because all others are fillable. My husband just filled it in his own hand writing, not a big deal.

It probably isn't a fillable form. Take a look at the expiration date for the one from the USCIS and see if the fillable one here under examples or the one at www.visapro.com have the same date. Good luck
