Hello,

I'm trying to bring my fiancee from Ecuador, and she doesn't speak much English, which means the statement of intent needs to be in both English and Spanish, right? My Spanish is not good enough to write a professionally sounding "statement of intent to marry within 90 days".

I need the document, of course, to complete the I-129F form.

Does anybody have one that I could re-use, or could anyone write one for me?

I really appreciate the help. Thanks!

You could have him sign an English version. Presuming he understands what it says and means.

I think it would be fine if she signs an english version. All your other forms are in English (I-129F, G-325A, etc) and she will sign them. Its not necessary to have a version with both English and Spanish. However, if you really want to do it remember that (1) your letter does not have to be very long (I'm sure you can write a simple, short 3 sentence letter in Spanish) and (2) You fiance can write the letter, tell her what to say and let her write it herself.
