I went the other day to get my vaccination records transfered onto the I-693A which is required to file for AOS. Now when i did the women put the form into and envelope and sealed it and put all over it confidental and only to be opened by the USCIS BUT she also put my I-94 in this envelope and said thats how its done.

Can anyone confirm this for me as im about to send everything off and i dont want to run the risk of an RFE because of this. Can anyone tell me if there I-94 was sealed in the envelope with the I-693A when they went to get this done ??

Any help is appreciated,

Tom

Your I-94 should be in your passport..... How did the medical people get it????

I would go back and tell them to remove it from the envelope and reseal it so you can mail the medical papers with your AOS...

Put your I-94 back in your passport... you need it for the AOS interview..

Im not going to file for AP as i dont see a need to leave the country any time soon. But this kinda has me wondering on wither this person new what she was doing by putting the I-94 in the envelope because i dont just want to break the seal and take the I-94 out then send it. Did you get ur vaccination records transfered to the I-693A ?? and if so did they put it in a sealed envelope ??

Kezzie,

I thought you had to sent the I-94 with the application or do you just send a copy of it ??

Yes the vaccination form has to go inside a sealed envelope.... but your I-94 should not be in there....

You will need your I-94 at the AOS interview or if you need to leave the country for some reason....

I would go back to the doctors and get them to fix this..... I still dont understand how they got your I-94 out of your passport????

You just send a copy of it. I had a terrible headache with my I693A as well, the people had no bloody clue what they are doing, so i am going to another doctor 2 hours away to get it done right. I agree with Kezzie, go back and get them to take it out, you will be needing it.

The Women said she needed to take a copy of my passport as i didnt have any other photo id with me so she could put it on record. She also told me that the I-94 gets sealed in the envelope which i asked her to clarify this and she said she new what she was doing so i took her word for it but i guess i was wrong to.

Just a helpful hint for when you go back to the doctor's office to have the I-94 removed from the sealed envelope:

Don't tell that lady (the one who knew what she was doing" ) that you got the information here on VJ.....she might refuse again since - you guessed it - "she still knows what she is doing"

Tell her you talked to someone at USCIS...might work better :D

Good luck,

CW

thats odd for sure,

I think, one of the main things, they asked for in interview s ID and I-94.

As, some ppl say that if the interview s ok, then they take out I-94 from passport.

I know, how these ppl in doctors offices r learned, as in my case, lady in my vaccination paper, selected the wrong box n doctor instead of having knowledge signed it.

Which the USCIS, in response to it sent me an NOID.

If some experienced guys can tell me,

i never apllied for an AP, n interview was ok, according to Officer. However, he took out my I-94 from passport and gave me EAD back, as i have to send vaccination paper.

Is it a good sign for my AOS, if officer takes ur I-94?

Wow, that's a first. You will need the I-94 for the AOS interview for sure. Send the copy with your application, not the original (once you get it back).

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail
