Naturalization is the process to become a citizen. It does not include the K visas (I-129) or the CR1/IR1 (I-130s).

CSC received my mothers case in August (I130/I485) - It was transferred from NVC. It still has not been touched

:help: Can someone please tell me how long it takes for a parents I130 to get approved? :help:

This is a totally frustrating experience :angry::angry:

Welcome first of all to a great forum....you should try to fill in your timeline but to answer your question is somewhat hard for alot of us now...no one really knows but hopefully they will get back in order after the first of year. Keep in mind that there are quite a few of us here that have filed for our spouses to be here in August forward and have not received our NOA1's as of todays date. I see that your case is a little different than most of ours, but still the backlogs are there for all.

Wishing you the best and also additional patience ...

Cheers

Susie

Thank you, SusieK. I am sorry I was just venting in my earlier post. I appreciate your response.

Here is something I just can't seem to get an answer for in any forum - I filed back in June and in early July there was an RFE which I responded to immediately. The case resumed in Mid July, and in early August it was transferred to CSC. My question is when the CSC received my case does my priority date change to August or does it remain the July date when the case resumed or June when they received the case.

BTW where do I fill in my timeline? Thanks for any responses.

Just hope that your application isn't processed by one of the new peons they hired with no experience. :o

I can just feel the mistakes stacking up...

Then again who knows? Maybe they'll be excited about their new jobs and work really fast!
