I am thankful for the God I serve.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Great thread...I am thankful for my two beautiful children who teach me more about life each day, my Tarek who is my soulmate, my parents, my brothers, my friends, the children I work with and the profession that I am so passionate about, and for the hard times in life that have helped form the person I am today....and of course to VJ and to all of you who have been a great support during this time.......and a special HEYA to AJ1 -

I'm thankful Wael will be leaving with me for the states and we can finally begin our new life. This process taught us many things...how to be patient...how to be thankful each time a call was made to DOS and our case was still in AP and not denied...how to be thankful each time an email was written to the Embassy there was a response even tho it was sometimes auto generated...how to be thankful for each and everytime we talked with each assuring each other that everything will be fine...how to be thankful for the times we could be together and face the concerns face to face...

Our hearts are very thankful for giving us this chance to be together!!!
