Well i have been waiting patiently for 73 days and Nothing. A couple of touches back in Feb. but since then nothing . Our reciept date for the I 129f is Feb.9/06. I thought this was to be away to reunite in a matter of weeks and not months and months. I am very sad , and getting ready to head back to Canada after a wonderful Easter with my husband. I see approvals going faster from people for different countries. You would think a Canadian wouldn't be a problem....

Hi!

My NOA1 was dated Feb. 7 and when I check online a couple of hours ago, they said the petition was approved on April 14.

Maybe yours will be approved sometime this week.

It's great you were able to spend Easter with you husband.

Good luck!

Thanks for the words of encouragement. It was great to spend Easter with my husband but it is bitter sweet. Now I must leave and it makes it harder. I'll probably freak out by not seeing him for another month or two. Just wish this would start moving.

I went through Nebraska too and thought our petition was never going to be approved. It did take 90 days but sure seemed longer :D I think Nebraska still has the longest wait. Our case was never touched until it was approved. I hope you hear any day that your petition is approve!!!!

K-3s seem to take a bit longer because they do the name check before approval I think. Have you tried to do a timeline search, maybe you can see what others have experienced. Good luck

I tried a timeline check but I don't think many people actually fill it out. I found like maybe 4 people with receipt dates even remotely close to mine.

Your I-129F petition is actually going through Missouri. From what I can tell the approval on the I-129F is not much faster than the I-130, however the I-130 can spend months at the NVC where the I-129F will only spend days there before it is forwarded to your embassy. The speed of approval is dependant on a lot of things, but once you get it everything should start moving fast. Good luck!
